Our Craft
Gratia means gratitude. It's the idea our label is built on — that the clothes we wear can carry a little thankfulness with them, for ourselves, for the moments we're in, and for the people who walk through life beside us.
Gratia by Jazz began with a simple belief: that comfort and elegance don't have to be traded off against each other. Every co-ord set we design starts from that same question — how do we make something a woman can live in all day, and still feel graceful in the moment it matters?
Our Craft
Each set starts with fabric. We work almost entirely in breathable, soft cotton — chosen because it moves with you, wears well through a long day, and softens beautifully with every wash. Where a piece calls for something more festive, we bring in tissue, chanderi silk, and gentle shimmer, always kept light enough to feel effortless rather than heavy.
From there comes the detailing — delicate machine embroidery inspired by Lakhnowi and chikankari traditions, mirror work, and hand-finished touches that give each set its character. We design silhouettes that do double duty: a straight kurta and palazzo that looks put-together for a brunch and still feels like loungewear at home; a co-ord you can dress up with jhumkas and heels for a festive evening, or keep simple with flats for a work-from-home day.
We keep our runs deliberately small. Rather than mass-producing a print or embroidery pattern, we curate limited pieces — which means once a size or colourway sells out, it's genuinely gone. It's less convenient than restocking everything, but it's how we keep every set feeling considered rather than churned out.
Who We Make This For
Gratia by Jazz is for the woman who wants her clothes to work as hard as she does — through brunches and boardrooms, festive mornings and quiet weekdays — without having to choose between looking elegant and feeling comfortable. Whether you're dressing for a celebration or just an ordinary Tuesday, we hope what you wear carries a little gratitude with it.
Thank you for being part of the Gratia by Jazz family. We're so glad you're here.
